Why are so many people talking about the year 2012...? Well...Let's...Go...Explore...this particular Friday in... 2012 December 21
So...what is it about this Maya calendar website that makes it so unique?
Well...first off, one can learn the 20 Maya day sign names in both English and Maya, including recent interpretations by Dr. David Stuart who is considered the world's leading authority on Maya glyph decipherment. Rich Eagle has been teaching the Mayan calendar for over 20 years, since 1989. even though Rich had not yet meet Mr. Arguelles. They did, in Sedona, Arizona, in 1993.
In 1995 Rich realized after reading Dennis Tedlock's book The Popul Vuh that the day count Arguelles and most people were using was somehow miscalculated by some 55 days. "Now we can lock into the exact clockwork timing of planetary motion within our solar system." Also, everyone is encouraged to experience the 20 symbols and offer up your own interpretations, so Rich offers a few of his own personal interpretations, some of which were published in the first full-color version of his yearly Mayan Calendar Guidebook in 1996. He realized in 1997 how the ancient and sacred 260-day Mayan calendar is correlated
to the musical scale - as displayed by the white and black keys of a piano keyboard... And in 2006 he correlated the clinically proven 1,000 levels of consciousness research of Dr. David R. Hawkins to the Maya calendar 260-day cycle. Every day has both a musical tone range and a level of consciousness potential... range and potential G# A# C# D# F# G#
This Ancient Calendar of the Americas... This Sacred Count of Days ...the "T'zolkin " follows a very specific Fractal Wave Pattern
with very specific musical tone ranges and levels of consciousness potentials that are Constantly changing... The Changes ...yet are Eternally Constant... The Principles.
These stable Changes show One... The Direction of The Winds
Perhaps the Most Interesting chart is... See the partial chart below THE CLINICALLY PROVEN 1,000 Levels of Consciousness (in The Basics 2 section) one part of that chart you see right now highlights: + the 20 Mayan 13-day weeks + the musical scale notes and tones + the CLINICALLY PROVEN 1,000 levels of Consciousness keys, for humans AND animals

The ancient 260-day Mayan Calendar is the worlds most accurate calendar. The ancient 260-day Mayan calendar is composed of 20 (TWENTY) 13-day "weeks. " 20 x 13-days = 260...the total days in one full Mayan calendar cycle.
The 260 days are composed of many 13-day "weeks." 20 of them in all.
A 260-day cycle is about a week short of 9 months--the human birth cycle.
A series of four 13-day weeks together create a "bundle" of 52 days and FIVE (5) 52-day bundles together make the sacred Round of 260. 13 days x 4 = 52 days 52 days x 5 = 260
The 260-day Map chart above details these 52-day shift points and upon reflection, reveals itself to be... a Musical code...the Octave! utilizing the same "pattern" as a piano keyboard layout.
where the Hero Journey consists of five 52-day cycles:
first, through the wilderness, the Underworlds, the first 52 days: 1 to 52 and then "up" through the Four Heavenly Realms, days 53 to 260.
The 260-day Mayan Hero Journey through the Mayan calendar, where all the energy field forces and Powers, all 1,000 levels of consciousness, have their perfect place and day.
This Time Code of the Mayan calendar then allows access that One can use to Explore every 13 days and so Understand... the General Tendencies of Nature the Great Harmonics of Time
Which lead to the final doorway... into the very Heart and Score of the Divine Nature
"Every 13-days creates a unique pattern...a unique Octave of Time."
And so, developed for You here, on this website
a variety of color highlighted Charts and Maps to help visually explain this Most Beautiful Universal Code.
click on one of the tab Headings above and start exploring the Charts and Maps...
Someone once said that "Time is...just a concept." Yes, it's a group of concepts...a series of "days" calculated into bigger units called Weeks, Months and Years.
This Mayan calendar system exactly charts... the orbits of both Venus and Mars, AND the Solar and Lunar eclipses!
"They knew the secret timing to the Great Lights above."
In Western culture the 7 days, Sunday through Saturday, make each 7-day week, which is flavored by the flow of the 5-day Monday to Friday "work week" and the sacred Saturday-Sunday "weekend."
In Maya time each Week is of 13-days and, each Mayan Month of 20 days is symbolized by the 20 day symbols. (as seen in The Basics 1 )
Each day then is designated with one of the 13 numbers and one of the 20 symbols .
And another 365-day one year long calendar, the Haab', was used by the Maya to track the solar year, like the Gregorian calendar (Jan.-Dec.) we will be using here.
